Please note, this is not an ultimate list. This is just a list of some of my favourite ships as of *right now*, mostly relating to shows that are currently on air. Not all, but most. These are also *not* in order (apart from... the last two choices, lol. I love those guys ♥). Please note, I'm not an adventurous shipper. Usually I just ship what a show tells me too. I know, how boring, right?
Enjoy!

Casey & Cappie - Greek

Greek
Overall, I'm quite new to Greek. I picked it up on a whim, after I heard some praise and I was in a bit of a lull with what to catch up with next on my television schedule. But I gave it a try and I paced myself halfway through S1, to the point where the show really fell into place for me, and then I ended up finishing S2 really fast - just in time for S3 to begin.
Casey and Cappie are a perfect case of a pairing that ultimately you keep coming back to. Sure, I shipped her for a while with Max (c'mon -- Michael Rady! You can forgive me, right?) but for these two, it always comes back to each other - as long as they can get their act together! The premise is that they were together prior to S1 beginning, which as we find out, ended badly, but not badly enough for them not to talk to each other. In fact, we see that despite everything they can still manage to be friends. Sure, Cappie pretends to be laidback and carefree, and he is when it comes to most things. But when it comes to Casey, he just can never seem to let her go, or forget about her, over and over again.
Chuck & Blair - Gossip Girl
It is like the manipulator vs the schemer, and there is no way of knowing which is which for these two. From the outset, it was pretty obvious that these two were very well matched to the point where everyone else in New York just bores them. They constantly challenge and torment each other - but that is their way. They play the ultimate cat and mouse - just in designer clothes, riding about in town cars.
I love the fact that now the writers have got these two together, they still create enough conflict within the relationship to never let the audience get complacent. And when they team up? Well, the Upper East Side better watch out, because they tend to get what they want.
Merlin & Morgana - Merlin
Arthur & Gwen - Merlin
Gwen & Lancelot - Merlin
Merlin & Arthur - Merlin
I've picked four ships for this one, because Merlin, for me, thrives on the interaction of the main four, and until lately, you could ship pretty much whatever way you wanted. And to be honest, you still can. For me, I've always loved Merlin/Morgana - it is all that secret magic tension and the fact that they understand each other, they share this bond, whether they know quite how much yet or not.
Arthur/Gwen -- to be honest, this is new for me. It has been heavily pushed this season and I found myself not minding so much. Bradley James' angst is pretty irresistable. I adore unrequited love stories, but prior to that, it was all about Gwen/Lancelot. Because well, Lancelot is a sap, but he's chivalrous and gorgeous, and you can't blame a servant girl for being tempted and flattered, right? Plus, it is the epicness of the love triangle? If only all of us girls were so lucky to have two such admirers, right?
As for our two lads, Merlin & Arthur, suprisingly, I don't slash them. Well, maybe a little, because let's face it, the series makes it SUPER EASY. The subtext is heavy and obvious if you want to read it. Ultimately I don't deal with slash a lot. I have no problem with it, but mostly it falls into the non-canon and that tends to cause too much work for my lazy brain. However, these two as the major medieval bromance? Oh, you can't deny, folks. You just can't.
Castle & Beckett - Castle
There is nothing hotter than a ship that bickers and fights, is there? Because Beckett pretends she hates Castle - and sure, maybe sometimes she even *does* hate him. On the surface, it is easy to write him off as a pompous charmer with luck and ego, who is just a thorn in her side. However, the audience knows Castle is a good guy - sure, he plays the smug smart rogue, but he has a heart of gold. And it's starting to show.
This could easily have turned into just another forgettable police procedural, but thankfully Nathan Fillion has enough charm to sink a battleship, and the leads chemistry is fabulous.
The Doctor & Rose - Doctor Who
The story begins with Nine and Rose - because the TARDIS also travels in time, not just space, and Rose likes adventure. Often overlooked for the more ~*epic*~ Ten/Rose, you have to admit the Doctor/Rose ship would be nothing without the beautiful foundation of Series 1. Where he shows her the world, and they do a little "dancing". There is really nothing more moving than Rose, absorbing the time vortex to get back to the Doctor - her Doctor - in order to keep him safe, and then him, subsequently sacrificing himself for her. They held hands, they ran through the universe. It was brilliant.
On the flip side, Ten and Rose are like those irresponsible silly children who are just high on life, and the world, and themselves and each other. I don't think anyone can deny that despite what the Doctor should or shouldn't do, he did love Rose, and it was a beautiful thing. Doomsday continues to be such a moving television episode for me, even though I know how the story ultimately ends in Series 4. Somehow the feeling of loss that they both suffer is harsh and strong, and bittersweet. Rose had everything she wanted, she'd made her choice, only to have that choice snatched away. But somewhere in a parallel world, I'm sure things are good now, right?
Will & Emma - Glee
They are the couple that are too sweet for words - if only they could be together. Naturally, he's married to a she-witch but hasn't realised it yet, and Emma's so scared to be alone that she's rather marry someone she doesn't love. Oh dear, guys - you need to work it out. And until then, keep singing and dancing please.
Although there are lots of other ships in Glee (including the Puck/Rachel/Finn/Quinn square), I'm not that invested in them. Sure, I'm interested, but I'll go with the flow on that one.
Patrick Jane & Teresa Lisbon - The Mentalist
Snap. Crackle. Pop. Patrick Jane is a handful, and an angsty tormented one at that - but with good reasons. And as much as we'd like him to fall in love again, at this point, we're not even sure if he's capable of it. He hides everything real under a thick mask, behind his super special mentalist skills, and doesn't like to let anyone in. But Lisbon is slowly creeping in, defending him, bending the rules. You know she likes him - let's face it, he is pretty fascinating, but I'm sure she's smart enough to figure that maybe he is a hopeless cause. At least right now. Besides, she's got her own problems, so only time will tell if they can heal each other. Until then, I have to enjoy watching Patrick Jane outsmart everyone around him.
Chuck & Sarah - Chuck
These guys deserve to be together, guys. They really do. Because it isn't unrequited, there is just one massive obstacle in the way that keeps exerting itself time and time again, and looks to become even more massive next season.
That said, Chuck Bartowski deserves a break. He's a good guy - he's trying to live a normal life - but with a fake girlfriend and super-secret spy alter-ego, it's kind of making things difficult. These two are just so cute it hurts.
Barney & Robin - How I Met Your Mother
There is no words for these two but AWESOME. Sure, they are new to my shipper list, but I love them quite desperately. Because Barney... is well, Barney. And although he's possibly the biggest emotional mess in the world, he's got a heart of gold under the suits and the catchprases and the womanising. And Robin? Well, let's just say, I get her. That said, these two emotionally stunted individuals are going to have a tough time of it, especially if season 5, and the HIMYM writers have anything to do with it, and I have a feeling this ship is going to break my heart before it gets better. That said, really - they are perfect for each other. And I'm a total sucker for the story of the bad guy who comes good, and Neil Patrick Harris has got the hangdog vunerability down to perfection. Although S4 had a few flaws in the telling of the romance, ultimately the story of Barney Stinson catching feelings, yet still remaining himself, was told beautifully.
Sheldon & Penny - The Big Bang Theory
As the fandom calls them - "the paradox ship". Because lets face it, on the surface it is so wrong, and yet somehow that makes it so right. That said, this is one of my few non-canon ships. Mostly because, as I said, I'm too lazy usually to ship outside of what a show's writers want me to ship. But these two? I'll make the effort.
Sure, I can understand the arguments for why people don't get it, or don't believe in it. Because both characters - currently - are certainly not in the position to enter into any sort of relationship with each other. That said, they are far more interesting than the current OTP that the series is currently pushing. Because while Sheldon is neurotic and crazy, he's not a robot, and if anyone is going to get him in the end, it's Penny. Because when it comes down to it, they spark, they banter, they challenge each other. She is one of the few people he respects, and she cares about him. Plus their scenes are about ten times more hilarious and fun than any other pairing on that show, and that's what I'd rather see. At this moment it is all about baby steps, but I think these two are the emotional heart of the show if the writers ever let them be.
Alex & Gene - Ashes to Ashes
Mark & Lexie - Grey's Anatomy
Cristina & Owen - Grey's Anatomy
Crews & Reese - Life
The ones that didn't quite make it to the main list, because although I love them, they are either off air for the time being (Ashes to Ashes), not a show I take too seriously (Grey's Anatomy), or now currently dwelling in the land of 'cancelled drama' (Life). Two sets of doctors, two sets of police officers. I'm sensing an (unintentional) theme.
Do you ship like me? I'm curious:
